Coppera's Pond / Pond Coppera

On Wednesday, I was really scared. The reson why I was scared is because I was going to Coppera's Pond with my wonderful cabin, The Phoenix. My brother, Jahlil , went to Coppera's Pond and he said it was scary as well. He only jumped off the big rock twice. He told me that when you jump off the rock it stings a little. I asked one of my cabin mates Angel if its scary. He said he had to jump off with a life jacket because he was also scared. After silent reading, we walked to the entrance of Camp Monserrate so we could get on the bus. While we were on the bus, my cabin was talking about how fun and scary Coppera's Pond is. When we arrived at Coppera's Pond, I told myself that I came to Camp Monserrate to have fun and to also be a leader so there was nothing to be afriad of.  My cabin mates and I walked 0.5 miles to get to the pond. When we got there I actually thought the big rock was not that big after all. I ended up having a good time. I jumped off the big rock twenty-three times. My conunselor brought food for us. I swam to the logs. I went up and down. I had so much fun. It was another fun day at Camp Monserrate.

Fui arriba y hacia abajo. Me divertí mucho.

Coppera's Pond / Pond Coppera

Coppera's Pond is really, really fun, but its also very dangerous. I had a lot of fun. We had to hike half a mile to get there. For lunch, my cabin and I ate chips, juice, and PB&J's. I was really scared to jump the big rock. I still did it though. A lot of people were there. There was a see-saw there. Then we stopped at a lean-to and I went on the roof. We took pictures. I saw some fish. At the end of the period. I jumped one last time. It took me a long time to jump one last time. I was so scared. I jumped. I wanted to redo it. I felt like I was going to die.The water hit me right in the stomach.I was happy. I was very, very proud of myself.

Canoeing

On July 25, 2012 my cabin, The Igniters, went canoeing. When we got to the deck, I was put with my 2 best friends. I was in the front of the canoe rowing. We were able to go canoeing because my cabin had pass the swim test. Our stop was Buck Island. My friends and i were trying our very best, but it as very difficult. Once we got to Buck Island we were able to swim, though some of our cabinmates didn't want to swim. So we canoed back to camp. It was a very exciting time for all of us. Me and my cabinmates hope we do it again later.
After we came back to camp we changed into nice clothes because we were going to Mountain Mist, an icecream shop. My cabin was able to go because we had won inspection. But before we went to Mt. Mist, we had group discussion. Then we ate and left for Mt.Mist. The icecream was very delicious. We came back, then watch a movie and slept.
