Funny Things Happen / Suceden Cosas Divertidas

     Ha ha ha! There have been some funny things happening at camp. The days are all pretty much the same, but the other day we went hiking for the first time.
     We left to go hiking right after classes ended, fully stocked with bottles of water and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.  As we were coming down Blueberry Mountain everyone, to be safe, was taking the safety trail. But me, Mr. I want to be a show off, took the hard, slippery trail, when suddenly I fell. I looked like I was attacked by a bear! I slipped and got dirty. Then when I got up, I fell on my behind again. I had learned my lesson and quickly ran off the slippery rock to reach the safety trail.
  I made it down the rest of the way without falling, and returned to camp in one piece.  When we got back we got to take a shower and call home.  Then, as a cabin, we all sat down together to eat a wonderful meal of lasagna.  What a day!

Ja, ja, ja! Ha habido algunas cosas raras que suceden en el campamento. Los días son todos más o menos lo mismo, pero el otro día fuimos de excursión por primera vez.
      Nos fuimos a hacer senderismo justo después de que terminaron las clases, completamente equipada con botellas de agua y la mantequilla de maní y mermelada. A medida que bajaban a todos Montaña Arándano, para estar seguro, estaba tomando el camino de seguridad. Pero a mí, señor yo quiero ser un espectáculo fuera, tomó el camino difícil, resbaladizo, cuando de repente me caí. Me parecía que fue atacado por un oso! Me resbalé y se ensució. Luego, cuando me levanté, me caí de atrás de nuevo. Yo había aprendido la lección y rápidamente se salió de la roca resbaladiza para llegar a la pista de la seguridad.
   Lo hice por el resto del camino sin caer, y regresó al campamento en una sola pieza. Cuando llegamos nos dieron a tomar una ducha y llamar a casa. Entonces, como una cabaña, nos sentamos todos juntos a comer una comida maravillosa de lasaña. ¡Qué día!
