Thunderstorm / Tormenta

Yesterday, we at Camp Monserrate experienced our first mountain storm of the camp season. The power in the main hall went off. The wind howled, the rain poured, the lightning flashed brighter than a flashlight. The director, Greg Arte, was trying to get the power back on. It seems like we were stranded. Whenever the, wind and the rain stopped, it came back two minutes later. One time it stopped, we went to the cabin to get our flash lights. When I was going to the cabin, I saw a tree in the way of cabin one and two. We went through the fire escape and got our stuff and left. Later that day, some of the staff worked at getting the tree out of the way.
